In-plant Impressions Editor Bob Neubauer talked with eight in-plant managers at the 2026 Inkjet Summit to learn why they’re considering production inkjet and how they expect it will cut color costs, boost capacity, and future proof their operations.
They described dramatic savings when shifting curriculum and transactional work from toner to inkjet, along with new opportunities to run both short and long runs on a single device with diverse substrates and inline finishing. Many also said the Summit’s networking and one-on-one vendor meetings helped them compare real-world performance, clarify finishing needs, and narrow their choices as they plan upcoming equipment replacements.
