We talked with Sylvia Palmer, supervisor of Reprographics and Records at Jurupa Unified School District, about her path into California’s printing industry and why her in-plant has wholeheartedly embraced inkjet.
Being able to add cost-effective color to her school district’s educational materials has made those materials more engaging for students, positively impacting learning outcomes, she says. Inkjet has not only saved Jurupa USD money, it has opened up capacity so the in-plant can print for other districts, bringing in revenue and increasing the shop’s value.
She also talked about her experience at PRINTING United Expo, which she called “an incredible opportunity,” and detailed why she joined PRINTING United Alliance and the benefits she’s receiving from her membership.
