I want to start out this blog post by thanking Yoda, our wise Star Wars friend, for help with the title. It is with these words in mind that I share some news with you. I’ll be taking a break from my “Today on PIworld” blog and video posts for the rest of 2014. Why? Because I need more time to finish writing my book, “Would You Buy from You? Your Brand Makes the Difference,” due out in early 2015. Preorder at www.WouldYouBuyFrom.com
We all have a choice to either do something or not do something, and I am no different. Trying to “fit” things in around other things, such as bottom-line deadlines, can mean we are simply “trying hard,” but destined for failure.
I am choosing to “DO/write” my book and borrow back some time from this and others areas of my life in order to do so. So, my DO list is my faith, family and then my business activities. In that order. As I’ve said before, we have 168 hours in a week 24x7 (no more or less). It is the great equalizer for all mankind. Thus, beyond working on this book, I plan to use the time to add more clients and create new blog content that I can share with share all of you in the future.
Writing a book is hard work and demands dedicated time. Thus, I am limiting my business focus to new and existing clients and speaking engagements. Thank you for all of your dedicated readership and viewership of my blogs and videos. I also want to thank Printing Impressions’ Mark Michelson and Julie Greenbaum for being so awesome to work with.
Remember, as you read this, TIME can be thought of as: Total, Inundation Multi-Mediums Everyday. Thus, we must each work hard to create a START doing and STOP doing list, so we can truly prioritize our activities. That’s my story, for now. With that said, I still have time allocated to helping people look at their businesses in a new way. I’d love to talk to you.
In closing, as we have all heard in the Sound of Music, “So long...Farewell...Goodbye...” But, don’t worry. As Arnold/Terminator said, “I’ll be back.”
See you in 2015, if I don’t hear from you before then. Have a blessed rest of the year.
