On this episode of The Week that Was, the National Postal Forum took place this week; PRINTING United Alliance released the state of the industry update for Q1 2023; and BR Printers has installed two HP PageWide T240 HD inkjet web presses. 

Louis DeJoy, the 75th Postmaster General and CEO of the U.S. Postal Service, presented a keynote during the PRINTING United Expo centered on his Delivering for America plan, a blueprint for putting the Postal Service on a positive trajectory, including new opportunities for the mailing and shipping industry.

There’s never been more publicity surround USPS and – in recent times – the postal rate increase stakes have never been higher, all leading to the fact that Congress must act now to bring both short-term fiscal sanity and long-term operational viability to the nation’s postal system.
