In an effort to find out why past attendees traveled to PRINTING United Expo in 2025 and 2024 and to discover why they made investment decisions while at the Expo, we reached out to them to find out more.

Printing Impressions (PI): Why did you attend PRINTING United Expo?
Adam M. LeFebvre: I always attend for 2 reasons ...
No. 1 - I am a firm believer that face to face interactions with people that you partner with are absolutely invaluable … And you can meet so many of them in one spot — its super efficient.
No. 2 - I am a firm believer that to succeed and grow in today’s print space a company has to have the most efficient possible solution for production. When we make an investment in equipment at SPC it typically lowers the cost of production significantly. Great industry vendors have figured out that delivering more efficient and cost effective, higher throughput solutions will keep them selling equipment in a shrinking market. I like to be the among the first in line to bring this technology to market
PI: What product or service purchases did you make at PRINTING United Expo 2024 (and/or 2025 if applicable)?
LeFebvre: We purchased a Canon Arizona, Canon Colorado, and an MBO continuous-feed splicer for our digital finishing line … maybe a couple other things I am not remembering.
PI: For the iDataPrint purchased at 2024 Expo, were you intending to make this purchase before you arrived or did you find this product while at the show and it met one of your needs?
LeFebvre: Yes. It was definitely a target piece of equipment for us. It has an improved cost and speed compared to what we were using.
PI: Since making the purchase in 2024, have you noticed any improvements in quality, workflow, or turnaround time?
LeFebvre: This certainly fit our needs in one space of on-press inkjet imaging. The equipment is a really good fit for what we wanted — high-speed in-line inkjet that is portable and has great uptime. DDS has definitely held up their end of the bargain — the equipment has not been seamless or perfect by any means — however, they have partnered with us to immediately and effectively resolve any issues that have come up along the journey.
PI: What are some of the benefits of attending a trade show, such as PRINTING United Expo?
LeFebvre: See No. 1 ... I love selling the idea of participating and taking advantages of the resources that the industry has to offer.
