Title: Print Production Manager at
Company: SpeedPro Southlake
Pretend this is an elevator pitch. Tell me a little bit about your company?
SpeedPro Southlake (Southlake, Texas) is your premier destination for top-quality large format printing solutions in Southlake, TX and the surrounding areas. We specialize in vehicle wraps, banners, murals and more.
What I love about our shop is that we’re not just printing something and sending it out the door. We work closely with our customers to figure out what they’re trying to accomplish and then turn that vision into something tangible. We’re a relatively small team, so there’s a lot of creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on production that goes into every project.
What motivates you to attend this year’s PRINTING United Expo?
I am really excited to learn more about the industry, and see all of the products available. I’m always looking for ways to make our production process better, smarter, and more efficient. The print industry is constantly evolving, and I don’t want our shop to simply keep doing things the way we’ve always done them.
I can't wait to see what’s happening across the industry, discover new technology and materials, and bring those ideas back to our shop.
If you’re a first-time attendee, what are you hoping to learn. If you’re returning, what brings you back?
This will be my first PRINTING United Expo, so I’m really looking forward to seeing the industry on such a large scale.
I want to learn what’s next. Not just in printers and equipment, but in substrates, finishing, workflow, automation, software, and the overall production process. I’m especially interested in seeing how other companies are using technology to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality.
Which products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing this year?
I'm really interested in flatbed printers, and direct-to-garment printers.
How do you plan to maximize your time at the Expo?
I want to soak in all I can! I plan to attend every day that I am able and interact with as many vendors as possible.
I also want to make time for education and conversations with other professionals in the industry. There’s a huge amount of knowledge at an event like this, and I think some of the most valuable takeaways can come from simply talking to people who are solving the same problems you are.
How do you think attending the Expo will impact your business or career?
I hope to come back with new ideas that make our production more efficient, expand what we can offer our customers, and ultimately make our shop more successful.
For me personally, I want to continue growing as a production leader. The more I understand about the technology, the processes, and the direction of our industry, the better I can lead my team and help our company grow.
