PRINTING United Expo Builds Connection with Networking and the Member Experience
Veterans of PRINTING United Expo — heading to Las Vegas, Sept. 23-25, 2026 — often say the reason they return is rarely a machine. It’s the people. The Expo builds in connection at every scale — structured events, community spaces, chance encounters in the aisles — and the relationships tend to outlast the show.
Once again, IPI will host a free In-plant Forum during PRINTING United Expo to bring in-plant managers together during the show. The forum will take place on day one of the three-day Expo. The In-plant Forum is open only to in-plants and will be a great opportunity for in-plant managers meet up during the Expo, network, and exchange ideas. Registration information will be announced soon.
Women in Print Alliance
The Women in Print Alliance, led by Director Lisbeth Lyons Black, once again brings a full slate of events to the Expo. The programming is designed to connect women in print at every stage of their careers, across job functions and print industry segments.
“PRINTING United Expo is an incredible experience, especially when you have a community to experience it with,” Lyons Black says.
The cornerstone is the ticketed Annual Networking Luncheon, held Thursday, Sept. 24, from noon to 2 pm. This year’s keynote features facilitator and coach Corrie Lo presenting “The 5 Overwhelm Culprits,” sharing strategies for overcoming the hidden drivers of overwhelm and reclaiming focus, energy, and effectiveness.
The community-building begins before anyone lands in Las Vegas. A pre-show “Expo 101: Tips & Tricks” webinar on Sept. 10 at 2 pm will help first-time women attendees arrive with a plan.
Once the show opens, the Women in Print Alliance booth will serve as home base for meetups and connections throughout the week. The organization’s official hotel block will provide another natural hub for women attendees to connect.
These Expo events cap a year of expansion for Women in Print Alliance, which has added regional meetups in select cities, a special program ahead of the Alliance’s Fly-In event in Washington, D.C., and new community forums.
Beyond the Expo, the organization maintains ongoing engagement through the Her Imprint podcast, presented by Women in Print Alliance, which celebrates and elevates the voices of women transforming print.

After Hours
The day doesn’t end when the floor closes. On Wednesday, Sept. 23, an evening celebration runs from 7 to 10 pm. Attendees can also add a progressive dining experience at Resorts World Las Vegas during registration, featuring three restaurants, signature tastings at each, and time to talk between courses. Some of the best conversations of the week happen after the badge scanners shut off.
Member Experience: The Experts Will See You Now
PRINTING United Alliance members receive a complimentary Expo + Education pass, an express members-only registration queue, access to the Member Experience, and more. But the most notable addition for 2026 is scheduled time with the Alliance’s own subject matter experts.
“One of the new things we’re offering this year is the opportunity to schedule one-on-one time with our subject matter experts,” says Christine Cachuela, VP, membership operations, PRINTING United Alliance. “We know attendees often come to the Expo with specific questions, and this gives them a chance to have a dedicated conversation with the people who can help.”
Attendees can stop by the Alliance booth to check availability for the week. Experts will be on-hand in areas including government affairs, workplace safety and environmental compliance, workforce development, human resources, and membership — with additional topics represented throughout the show. The office hours are open to current members and prospective members alike.
For someone considering a membership, Cachuela’s pitch skips past the obvious perk.
“The Expo pass is a great benefit, but it’s not the reason to join,” she says. “What I’d tell someone is that membership gives you access to people and resources that are there for you all year — not just during the three days of the show. If you need help finding training for your team, understanding a regulation, connecting with industry peers, or just figuring out where to go for answers, we’re here. The Expo is where a lot of those conversations start, but membership is what keeps them going.”
Both individual and corporate members receive the complimentary Expo + Education pass and access to the Member Experience. After the show, a corporate membership extends training, resources, research, and expert support to the entire company.
Asked which benefit members underuse most, Cachuela doesn’t hesitate.
“Honestly, it’s us,” she says. “I think many members don’t realize how accessible our team is. We have experts covering everything from safety and government affairs to workforce development and business resources, and people are often surprised when they find out they can simply pick up the phone or send an email with a question. We may not always have the answer ourselves, but we’ll find the person who does. That’s one of the biggest values of membership, and I don’t think enough people take advantage of it.”
