Dubbed "The Global Technology Event for Print, Publishing and Media," IPEX 2002 will take place April 9-17 at the National Exhibition Center (NEC). With millions of British pounds invested in a revitalization program, Birmingham is fast becoming a hub for business, as well as recreational activities. In fact, the city is submitting a bid to become the European Capital of Culture for 2008. At the last IPEX in 1998, exhibitors and visitors enjoyed the new surroundings of The Water's Edge at Brindley
