These revisions mean that Flint Group can take advantage of a longer period before its debt is due to be repaid and will have considerable additional financial flexibility. A significantly increased acquisitions facility will allow Flint Group to further expand as attractive opportunities become available.

PLYMOUTH, MI—Flint Group North America has announced price increases on certain printing inks and pressroom chemistry sold in the United States and Canada. This is in addition to the news ink price increase implemented Jan. 1, and previously announced increases for blankets and sleeves.

This is in addition to the news ink price increase implemented Jan. 1, 2011 and previously announced increases for blankets and sleeves. “Within the last few months alone, nitrocellulose, titanium dioxide and violet pigment have experienced double digit cost increases.”

Flint Group Raising Ink, Varnish Prices

PLYMOUTH, MI—Ongoing raw material trends, including supply shortages, have pushed up the price of pigments, resins and other intermediates used in the manufacture of heatset and directory inks in North America. As a result, Flint Group has announced price increases on those products sold in the United States and Canada. Prices will increase by 6 percent on heatset and directory inks and overprint varnishes, effective July 1, subject to existing contracts.
