Three new Varn Supreme fountain solutions have been launched by Flint Group to help printers streamline the solutions they use.

Following its recent change of ownership, Flint Group has announced a new advisory board to oversee and support it executive management team. Succeeding Charles Knott is Pierre-Marie De Leener, who was selected to lead the new advisory board. The board's executive director is David Scheible, currently the chairman and CEO of Graphic Packaging.

NEW YORK—Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division announced that it has partnered with Koch Equity Development LLC, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, to acquire shares representing 100 percent of Flint Group’s share capital from funds advised by private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.  Koch Equity Development has agreed to invest with Goldman Sachs in a newly formed entity that will acquire Flint Group.

Flint Group has launched Ultraking XCURA and Ultraking XCURA LED, the next generation of UV low energy and UV LED curing ink technology for Sheetfed offset applications. Both Ultraking XCURA and Ultraking XCURA LED products have high color strength, display sharp ink/water stability and require lower levels of energy to operate.
