GURNEE, IL—Ink-jet printer manufacturer Domino is making headlines with its commercial printing division following the release of its Domino-ON-Demand variable data printing solution. The Cambridge, UK-based manufacturer, which operates in 120 countries, invited a group of North American journalists to its U.S. facility here recently for a sneak peek at Domino-ON-Demand, which comprises estimating, prepress, proofing and printing modules. Its coming was also foretold at Graph Expo last September. During the Gurnee visit, reporters were given a first-hand look at the system in action.
