At the pre-drupa event held in Düsseldorf, Germany, this week, about 100 trade journalists from all over the world gathered for a preview of some of the innovations to be shown at drupa 2016. Fifteen graphic arts vendors took turns announcing new products and dropping hints about what they will reveal at the show, which will take place May 31-June 10.

PLS Print Logistic Services Germany GmbH in Markkleeberg, Germany — a subsidiary of the American online printing service OvernightPrints — is the first European beta site customer for Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe's KM-1 UV digital sheetfed press. Konica Minolta’s KM-1 was delivered in January 2016 to PLS, which is already a user of inkjet, as well as toner and liquid toner digital technology.
Under the slogan "Value from Innovation," Fujifilm Corp. will be showcasing technologies and solutions that add value to print operations in the commercial, wide-format and packaging market sectors at drupa 2016. The company will occupy a 2,020 m2 booth in Hall 8b, alongside a smaller booth in Hall 1 to support the company’s Heidelberg partnership, which in combination, represents the company’s largest drupa presence to date.
At drupa 2016, Xerox will debut the Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press, and the Trivor 2400 Inkjet Press.
