SITMA U.S.A Taps Dex Van De Werken as Managing Director; Hires Two Regional Sales Managers
ST. PAUL, Minn.—February 4, 2016—Sitma's "Global Footprint Expansion and Optimization" is part of the company’s strategic initiative established for the next five-year evolution plan.
The plan aims to:
- Establish a solid and balanced subsidiaries presence.
- Participate in Global client market revenues growth.
- Improve the ability to customize products for regional markets.
- Answer quickly to regional customers' needs, focus on service.
Effective Jan. 12, 2016, Dex van de Werken was appointed as Sitma U.S.A. managing director.
Van de Werken joins Sitma and brings more than 20 years of success as an accomplished general management and global sales leader for manufacturers and distributors of industrial capital equipment, services, software, automation and turn-key industrial solutions. Van de Werken possesses a unique expertise of sales and marketing through various distribution channels and to a broad range of industries including the graphic arts, print and mail, and packaging industries.
Prior to this appointment, van de Werken held the positions of president of Buhrs Americas, executive director of sales for Bell and Howell, and vice president of sales for KSI.
Effective Feb. 1, 2016, Patrick Clancy and Gary Harris were appointed as Sitma U.S.A. regional sales managers.
Clancy has more than 35 years of experience in the print and mail industry and has held distinct positions in operations and most recently in sales for MBO and Bell and Howell. He is uniquely skilled to identify and deliver operational improvements and efficiencies through the implementation of process improvements and new technologies.
Harris has more than 30 years of experience in the print, mail and fulfillment industries, where he has held a variety of consultative sales positions for Bell and Howell, Buhrs Americas, Videk, Winkler+Dünnebier and Peak Business Equipment.
Established in 1965, Sitma specializes in printed media, packaging and distribution systems with over 8,000 systems installed worldwide. Now active in more than 70 countries, Sitma began its business by manufacturing equipment for the packaging industry.
