Mittera, a national leader in integrated print, data, creative, and marketing services, announced the acquisition of select business assets of Phoenix Lithographing, the Philadelphia-based print, mailing, and fulfillment company founded by Barry Green in 1964. For more than six decades, Phoenix has served leading brands across the mid-Atlantic. The combination brings a state-of-the-art production campus and an established Northeast client base into Mittera’s national network, which serves Fortune 500 marketers across multiple industry segments.
The acquisition pairs Phoenix’s customer relationships with Mittera’s integrated capabilities in print, proprietary technology, marketing, data, and creative services. For existing Mittera clients, it adds production depth, faster regional turnaround, and stronger postal economics on the East Coast. For Phoenix clients, it means immediate access to scale and technology that expand what their marketing programs can accomplish.
Jon Troen, chief executive officer of Mittera, said: “Mittera was built for the complexity the country’s largest marketers face in managing their supply chains. Most of the industry is still selling point solutions to a problem that requires an integrated platform. Phoenix gives us depth in a market where our customers have asked us to do more. Every acquisition we make is in service of that platform and the customers who depend on it.”
Barry Green, founder and chairman of The Phoenix Group of Companies, said: “Phoenix’s customers and employees deserve a partner with the scale and commitment to deliver what they need going forward. Mittera is that partner.”
Production will continue at the Philadelphia facility under Mittera’s ownership. Customers will receive the same quality and service they have come to expect, now backed by Mittera’s national scale and its technology, creative, data and marketing capabilities.
Phoenix Lithographing has engaged Graphic Arts Advisors, a respected firm in the print and graphic arts sector, to ensure a smooth transition for customers, employees, and partners.
