The Graphic Communications Leadership Institute (GCLI) held their Third Quarter Workshop of 2026, September 10-11, 2026, at Dupli in Syracuse, New York.
Dupli Envelope & Graphics, headquartered in Syracuse, New York, is a family-owned print and manufacturing company that has been helping customers create, deliver, and elevate their brands for more than 45 years. What began as a four-person envelope printing operation has grown into a diversified organization with manufacturing facilities in New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut and capabilities spanning envelope manufacturing and printing, commercial print, direct mail, branded apparel and promotional products, fulfillment, sticky notes and specialty coated products.
Dupli combines traditional manufacturing expertise with modern production technology and automation to support customers ranging from local organizations to national brands. Through its DupliOnline e-procurement platform and integrated production capabilities, the company processes thousands of customized orders while helping customers streamline ordering, maintain brand consistency, reduce inventory and efficiently manage complex print programs.
Family-owned and led by second-generation President Kemper Matt Jr., Dupli’s continued growth has been driven by investment in technology, strategic acquisitions and, most importantly, its people. The company’s vision — “A world-class team empowering our customers, company, and families to achieve more” — reflects a culture centered around continuous improvement, ownership, collaboration and creating opportunities for both employees and customers.
GCLI members toured the Dupli facility and heard presentations from Dupli executives who detailed the company’s approach to world class customer service.
GCLI’s Third Quarter Workshop focused on building stronger relationships with key accounts. Workshop leaders and co-founders Mike Philie and Joe Truncale shared key insights and techniques applied by industry leaders to build and develop accounts that are a best fit for the organization’s unique strengths.
The Graphic Communications Leadership Institute (GCLI), a comprehensive three-year program for rising industry professionals, consists of four quarterly workshops, each one focusing on core elements of business management and organizational leadership. Now in its sixth year, GCLI was founded by Mike Philie (The Philie Group) and Joe Truncale (Alexander Joseph & Associates).
