Fort Orange Press announced a $4 million investment in state-of-the-art digital print production equipment to expand services, increase capacity, and accelerate speed to market for both commercial clients and election-ballot printing.
The new equipment triples the company’s digital production capacity and lowers unit costs as Fort Orange Press continues migrating from traditional lithographic processes to digital workflows. The installation includes:
- Two Canon iX3200 production lines, providing versatile, high-quality digital output that expands Fort Orange Press’s competitive position in commercial and election printing markets.
- One Canon 8200 inkjet web press, doubling web-press speed and adding redundancy through an offline finishing configuration to improve uptime and throughput.
- One Canon Arizona large-format flatbed device to meet growing demand for durable, near-photographic signage and display products, including trade-show displays, posters, wall murals, lawn signs, custom cutouts, and architectural/retail materials.
“Investing in cutting‑edge equipment enables Fort Orange Press to serve existing customers better and enter new markets with faster turntimes, higher quality, and lower costs,” said Robert F. Wiko, President of Fort Orange Press. “These upgrades put us at the forefront of digital print technology, provide redundant, around‑the‑clock production, and further solidify Fort Orange Press’s leadership in secure, mission‑critical printing and mailing services.”
