Arna Marketing Group is continuing its fourth generation of leadership as Sara Hegna joins the company as Vice President of Business Development.
Sara will work alongside her mother, Mette; father, Steven; brother, Jake; and uncle, David, continuing a family legacy while bringing her own perspective to the role.
Sara spent the past five years at Canon USA, where she developed a strong foundation in inkjet technology, production print, and customer relationships.
“I wanted to form my own understanding of the corporate world and experience the printing industry before joining the family business,” Sara says. “It was important to me to learn on my own, to experience the challenges, the different cultures, and the expectations firsthand.”
Her time at Canon USA, allowed her to build industry knowledge independently, gain credibility, and develop relationships outside the framework of the family business. That experience now shapes how she will approach business development at Arna Marketing Group.
In her new role, Sara will focus on strengthening the Arna Marketing Group brand, expanding market presence, and identifying growth opportunities while maintaining the values that have sustained the company for generations.
“The foundation is strong,” she says. “Now I want to build on it.”
For Sara, joining the family business is not about stepping into something ready-made, it’s about contributing what she has learned to its continued evolution and success.
Each generation has left its mark on Arna Marketing Group. As the fourth, she intends to do the same, thoughtfully, strategically, and with a clear vision for the future.
