Loss of The Printing House a Setback for Quincy Community

Publishers Press of Shepherdsville, KY, is assuming the printing duties for more than 200 editions of Homes & Land magazine, taking over for The Printing House in Quincy (FL). The shift marks the end of The Printing House, which was once one of Gadsden County’s largest employers. Homes & Land magazines, containing residential properties and acreage for sale, are published in 47 states, the District of Columbia and six provinces in Canada by licensed franchisees.

At its peak, The Printing House had a staff of 250 and printed more than 400 titles.
