These Are the Good Old Days

Some days, when we are in the thick of the battle of growing our business, we just want to get to a brighter future.
I understand. For the first several years of starting and growing Proforma, I had more than my fair share of worries.
After 45 years of growing a business, here are a few lessons that I have learned:
- No amount of worry ever created a solution.
- Worry creates anxiety that can only rob us of joy in the precious moments of our life.
- Compartmentalize your worry. Put your worries in a “box” that you will deal with at the right time.
- Every problem has a solution. Trust that you will find it.
I don’t know where you are today in your life. However, I do know that whether you are just getting started on your way — a parent raising children, a grandparent, or whatever your current circumstances — I do know that today is a gift you will never get back. These are your good old days. Enjoy them.
