This week, PaperSpecsGallery.com headlines the Sephora VIB (very important beauty) Rouge Press Kit. How do you get the attention of the nation's top fashion editors—those busy people who are bombarded daily with press kits? You go BIG and you get personal. Sephora refreshed its beauty insider loyalty program with a new look, benefits and a membership tier with a VIB rouge for its highest level of clients.
The kits consists of a 16x24" black envelope with a custom sephora branded waxed seal on the flap and the recipient's name is handwritten on the front in red calligraphy. When the folder is opened, the interior is flooded with red ink and a soft touch coating. The VIB welcome package includes lipstick, custom-branded iPhone cases and ear buds, and a number of beautiful prints signed by the artists themselves. The editor can use it as an actual case.
This press kit was designed by Hub Strategy in San Francisco; and printed by Calitho in Concord, CA. The paper used for this project was 24-lb Tango Advantage C2S from MeadWestvaco.
