The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) plans to close its regional printing plant here this month and contract the printing of its newspaper, along with the weekly Barron’s, to The Des Moines Register, that paper reported. The current WSJ plant, which employs 25 people, produced editions for a four-state area.

ARLINGTON — This letter was sent out by Belo VP William H. May Jr. informing customers of Belo's decision to shut down its printing facility in Arlington. The Arlington facility printed college newspapers, supermarket circulars, junk mail, and other second-tier jobs. As of April, all printing will take place in Plano.
