Scheduled for October 22 in Las Vegas, Blue Ocean Worldwide will showcase its expanded superwide-format print capabilities at an Open House from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The company just added a sixth EFI VUTEk printer to its fleet after it moved into a larger location.
Two Chicago-area marketing services firms have joined forces to extend impact for their business clients. Tradeshows and Displays has become a subsidiary of Plum Grove, a print, promotional products and signage firm. The merged Plum Grove company provides a 360-degree approach to trade show marketing and printing.
Digital textile printing is quickly transforming the world of display graphics. Merritt Graphics of East Hartford, CT, recently decided that the time was right and just finished installing a new PrinterEvolution Eos126 DS dye-sublimation printer. Epson is the official inkjet printer and paper partner for the "Wilderness Forever: 50 Years of Protecting America’s Wild Places," exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. The exhibition-quality prints were created with Epson’s 44" Epson Stylus Pro 9900 inkjet printer.
Since installing an EF VUTEk HS100 Pro UV inkjet press and a VUTEk GS3250LX Pro LED inkjet printer with hybrid flatbed/roll-to-roll capabilities, Dome Printing in Sacramento, CA, has brought most of its large-format printing work in-house.
