Digital Printing-Wide Format - Hybrid

Two new inkjet systems have been released by Agfa Graphics. The Jeti Mira is a versatile six-color plus white UV inkjet flatbed printer with optional varnish or primer. The Jeti Tauro is a high-end hybrid UV inkjet press with 32 heads for six colors, and optional white or primer.

At the ISA Expo, Veritiv Corp. will share its value proposition in wide-format printing, substrates, supplies and equipment.

Four new installations have been announced by Heidelberg.

In April, Agfa Graphics will be launching new media under its Duratex brand at the 2015 ISA Sign Expo in Las Vegas. Additions include PVC Backlit Banner, Composite Blockout film, Super White Foamboard and Foam PVC Board. "We have a few substrate surprises up our sleeves at ISA," said Larry Salomon, of Agfa Graphics.

The Jeti Titan HS + FTR (flat-to-roll) will be among several Agfa Graphics printing devices being demonstrated at ISA’s Sign Expo 2015.

The company is installing the printer following its move into a new, larger 8,000-square-foot facility, which offers more space for wide-format graphics production.

Another successful Wide-Format Technology Summit was hosted by Fujifilm North America, Graphic Systems Division, this time at the company's all-new Chicago Technology Center in Hanover Park, IL. Nearly 50 people were in attendance to experience inkjet innovations and wide-format print applications, and also receive a tour of the new 23,000-square-foot facility.
