Heidelberg Reorganizes Board; Includes Harald Weimer Stepping Down From Board

The supervisory board of Heidelberg has selected Rainer Hundsdörfer as the new CEO and Ulrich Hermann as a regular member. Hundsdörfer will replace Gerold Linzbach on Nov. 14, who is leaving the company of his own accord, as already announced. Current management board member Harald Weimer, responsible for Heidelberg Services, will be stepping down from the board at his own request as of Nov. 13, 2016, and will supervise the orderly transition in the period to March 31, 2017.

With more than 400 production print professionals, analysts, partners and press, the thINK 2016 annual inkjet user group conference that was held Oct. 10-12, 2016 in Boca Raton, Fla., at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, was deemed a major success. "We knew early on that building on the success of last year's event would be a challenge — but one that we welcomed — and as the feedback we've garnered and results have shown, thINK 2016 was an overwhelming success," says Victor Bohnert, thINK executive director.
