As PRINTING United Expo gets ever close, so too does the half-day event taking place the day before the show opens, Sept. 22, at the Las Vegas Convention Center: The G7+ Exchange.
In its second year, this year promises to build on the idea that sold out last in its debut in Orlando — giving the color community a place to come together to learn, network, and share tips and tricks with peers and experts. Whether you are a color newbie, or have been the color guru in your operation for years, there will be something for everyone.
Running from 2pm to 5pm, followed by a cocktail hour for even more networking, the event is already shaping up to be a strong second showing. Taking feedback from last year, the format was tweaked to ensure attendees get the most from every minute.
This year, the first hour will feature main stage presentations from color experts Ron Ellis and Shelby Sapusek. But this year, the round table format has been expanded and refined, to give every attendee a chance to engage where it makes the most sense for them.
To be held in three 20-minute rotations, the round tables will be open, so attendees can move between them to talk about problems, network, or learn where it makes the most sense for them. Three tables will be dedicated to those new to color management, with discussions on the path to G7+ certification; a G7+ toolkit to get started; and selling G7+ certification and usage internally.
There will also be three tables dedicated to more advanced topics, designed for those who already have G7+ certification, and who want to dive deeper. Those tables will focus on using G7+ with difficult substrates; G7+ in inkjet and wide-gamut printing; and process control.
Each of those tables will be led by an industry expert who will help guide the discussion and help everyone get the most from their time. Come with questions, concerns, ideas, tips, tricks, and more, and get ready to share your biggest wins, and get help with your biggest challenges.
Registration for the G7+ Exchange is $49, and can be added on when you register for PRINTING United Expo. Seats are limited and filling up fast, so don’t miss this opportunity to start your Expo week off strong.
