Tim Taylor Named President of the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia
SMYRNA, GA—07/06/09—The PIAG Executive Search Committee and the PIAG Executive Committee have unanimously confirmed the position of Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia president to Tim Taylor. Taylor comes to this position with over 20 years of experience in sales and management in the print paper industry, as well as numerous years in association membership and management.
Taylor officially began his duties as PIAG president on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
The Executive Search and the PIAG Executive Committees are excited about the opportunities to utilize Taylor’s experience to lead PIAG and the Georgia print and imaging industry through this tough economic time. He has already attended the National Skills USA competition as a part of the Department of Education VIP tour and will be joining attendees at the PICA/PIAG Summer Management Conference July 16 –19 at Château Élan.
Taylor will immediately begin to familiarize himself with the association staff and membership. His purpose will be to evaluate the needs of members and how the association can continue to be most beneficial and relevant to their business.
