Printware will showcase its expanding line, including two new products added to the iJetColor inkjet family, at Printing United Expo, taking place October 22-24 in Orlando, Main Hall 5027. The iJetColor team will present advances to its expanding inkjet envelope solutions, with live demonstrations, featuring a new high-speed envelope press, an affordable packaging unit, and enhanced inkjet color fidelity via its PQ Optimizer software tool.
Printing United Expo is the ideal venue to introduce, to the U.S. market, the next generation of inkjet printing solution - the iJetColorQ. Powered by HP’s 108mm TIJ 4.0 Printhead Technology, the iJetColorQ features high-speed, high-resolution, long-life printheads designed to help offset customers go digital affordably. The newest member of the iJetColor family incorporates TIJ 4.0 technology that provides a Quantum breakthrough in performance and costs for the highest volume production. The iJetColorQ is integrated into a production class feeding and alignment system that is accurate, reliable, and facilitates easy transitions between envelope sizes typically run on offset equipment. Affordable performance priced under $200k, the iJetColor Q is already designated for an extensive pre-release customer placement this year and will be commercially available at the beginning of 2026.
“Our largest customers have been waiting for this technology so they can continue to convert their offset operations to inkjet profitability. We’re pleased that the wait is finally over!”, commented Printware president, Tim Murphy.
The second inkjet technology introduction is the iJetColorPXG, which incorporates Printware’s unique feeding technology to provide an affordable packaging press designed with bags, boxes, and other heavy, hard to feed products in mind. Previewed earlier this month at Pack Expo, the system’s unique automated and flexible feeding for small volume packaging applications is a complete bundled solution under $30k and is already commercially available.
The iJetColorQ and iJetColorPXG build upon the success of the iJetColor 1175 Pro, the most widely installed console-based inkjet press, the more affordable iJetColor 1175C console unit, and the best-selling iJetColor 1175, an affordable benchtop model. All three iJetColor inkjet envelope presses utilize HP’s proven FI-1000 print bar, which utilizes water-safe, fade-resistant, pigment-based ink for a wide range of print applications and will be demonstrated with several new options for enhanced productivity. The iJetColor family offers three solutions at various price points to easily feed and print full-bleed envelopes.
Printware will also demonstrate a third inkjet technology innovation: improved usability and reliability with its recently released iJetColorFlow2.0. The iJetColorFlow2.0 is a comprehensive software suite that is exclusive to Printware and is an expert implementation of HP’s F1-1000 Thermal Inkjet Printhead technology that exclusively offers the most advanced color fidelity in the industry. The iJetColorFlow2.0 is built on a proven Harlequin base, developed by Xitron and Global Graphics, which now incorporates a suite of inkjet enabling tool sets that include:
Advanced Color Management Tools:
