In front of the NYC Library there is a pair of marble lions that flank the entrance steps. During the 1930’s, Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia named them Patience and Fortitude, for the qualities he felt New Yorkers would need to survive the economic depression.
Patience and fortitude are also two words I would use to describe the Herculean effort of PRINTING United Alliance to form a new organization and pivot from a million+ square foot trade show to a virtual event platform during a pandemic. Qualities required for the industry to survive.
With 2020 behind us and the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel getting closer, looking at the future with purpose is now the goal of PRINTING United Alliance, and with that Dave Leskusky, the president of NAPCO Media has also been named the president of the organization.
In this Podcast From The Printerverse, Dave reflects on 2020 and how the org stepped-up, outlines some of the acquisitions and programs that will have benefit to members and the greater print industry, gives us an update on their relationship with the Affiliate Orgs, and suggests we all prepare to attend #PRINTINGUnited Expo in Orlando, October 6-8. I am in!
Listen Long and Prosper!
