PIA Reacts to President Bush’s State of the Union Address

Washington, DC—January 25, 2007—The following statement is from Michael Makin, President and CEO of PIA/GATF, in response to President Bush’s State of the Union Address:

“PIA is encouraged by many of the significant proposals put forth by President Bush in the State of the Union Address, and looks forward to ensuing policy dialogue on important issues like access to affordable health care, energy security and immigration reform.
