NPES 2009 Industry Summit to Feature Technology Forecast for Print
RESTON, VA—March 3, 2009—The NPES 2009 Industry Summit, March 23-25, in Washington, DC, which brings together the PRIMIR Spring Meeting and PRINT OUTLOOK, will feature an industry technology forecast through 2018. Slated for Tuesday, March 24, the “Post-drupa Technology Forecast for Print to 2018” presentation will review findings from a recent Pira International report that delves into the implications of technology changes in the printing industry over the next 10 years.
According to Neil Falconer, Print Industry Strategy Consultant for Pira International, “my remarks will focus on the implications of technology change and how established printing processes will evolve and defend their positions. We will also discuss the development of workflow and procurement functions and the integration of widespread environmental accountability.” Falconer will close this session with an insightful vision of the printing industry in 2018.
