Keen Introduces Three Major Additions to its Print eCommerce Suite at GRAPH EXPO
CHICAGO—October 8, 2012—Yesterday at the GRAPH EXPO 2012 kick-off, Keen Systems announced the release of three new online services. Keen Systems launched its InterTech award-winning, cloud-based ecommerce solution at GRAPH EXPO 2011 and continues striving for customer-focused innovation with Keen Design Studio, Keen Boost Marketplace, and Keen Files. A venture-backed, Silicon Valley startup, Keen is disrupting the print industry and enabling print service providers of all sizes to take advantage of modern technology and business models.
Keen Files is a new economical online service that allows print service providers to quickly integrate a secure file upload form into their existing Website. Replacing e-mail, FTP or file transfer services not designed for large graphic files, Keen files is specifically designed for printers, sending automatic e-mails to customers to confirm successful file uploads and giving printers a convenient place to manage uploaded files and customer accounts.
The Keen Design Studio gives print service providers the ability to instantly convert PDF files into HTML-based Web-to-print design templates that are completely editable in Web-browsers. Customers experience real-time and lag-free editing using the templates. Keen Design Studio is also connected to Web services that bring in free images and open source fonts, allowing customers to create print-ready PDF files with their orders.
The Keen Boost Marketplace allows print service providers to expand their catalog by reselling products and services from wholesale/trade vendors. Within minutes, Keen users can offer their customers products and services they don’t produce in-house today. Product categories already include: offset printing, wide-format, exhibits and displays, promotional items and apparel. Keen’s automated platform allows seamless partnership and order fulfillment between print service providers and some of the best known wholesale sources in the industry.
“Keen’s mission is to make the best Internet technology accessible, useful, and usable to the print industry. Today’s announcements are a culmination of what we’ve learned from our customers to date and a complete rethink of several common problem areas the industry has simply been forced to put up with until now,” said Vitaly M. Golomb, CEO of Keen Systems. “We look forward to providing our customers the continued edge in the competitive business environment.”
