Ronnie Davis, chief economist for the PIA/GATF, notes that the projected loss in terms of property damage from the storms has been estimated at more than $200 billion. The impact on national print markets will be relatively short-term, with a $300 million to $400 million decline in printing shipments through the balance of this year.
