Freedom has announced their intent to expand their Aurora, IL campus with the addition of an 87,000 sq ft building to be constructed on the property located at 780 McClure Rd. New construction is scheduled for completion in June 2026.
"We are thrilled to announce our plans to expand our growing organization" states Eric Blohm, President and COO of Freedom. "Our new building is being designed to support system directed automation to enable Freedom to continue to be a low-cost leader in the Direct Mail marketplace."
Freedom's new "Mega" facility will expand its current structure in Aurora, IL from 226,222 sq. ft. to 373,222 sq. ft. creating one of the largest direct mail plants in the market. Freedom's financial stability enables groundbreaking enhancements focused on the needs of marketers nationwide, and this expansion will support Freedom's clients by increasing overall capabilities, capacity, and throughput.
Expansion of Freedom's facilities will align with the USPS "Mega" facilities to reduce cycle time from dock door to the mailboxes across the US while continuing to drive deeper discounts and postal efficiencies. The new construction will also support Freedom's ESG efforts to modernize facilities, driving down the use of energy and fossil fuels while increasing production volume.
"This is an exciting time for Freedom as we embark upon the expansion of our company" Blohm continues. "Freedom is again demonstrating a sign of operational strength, and we could not be more proud of our employees who work together each day to exceed the expectations of our clients."
Additional details regarding the expansion of Freedom's Aurora campus will be disclosed as their innovations are unveiled early next year.
