FetterGroup Expands Operations into Nevada
LOUISVILLE, KY—FetterGroup, a marketing distribution and packaging provider, is expanding its operations to the western United States with the opening of a new 12,000-square-foot facility in Reno, NV. The plant will provide high quality digital printing, bindery, fulfillment and distribution services.
FetterGroup President and CEO Terry Gill says the company chose Reno for its western headquarters because it “provides convenient access to California specifically, and gives us a strategic advantage for distribution across the western U.S." The company expects 2010 sales to increase by more than 20 percent.
FetterGroup also invested $700,000 in new equipment purchases in 2009, with an additional $2 million budgeted for infrastructure growth in 2010. Equipment purchases across the enterprise for 2009 include an HP Indigo 3500 digital press, an eight-pocket high-speed collation device, an MBO eight-page folder, a 16-page Stahl B26 2640 continuous feed folder, and a Heidelberg/Polar DCM automated diecutter with in-line auto banding.
To support their growth, FetterGroup has hired five new employees in 2009 and plans to add three to five more positions by the end of the year.
