Direct One, a national direct mail and print communications company, announced that printing industry veteran Tom Boyle has joined the company as President of its Services Division. Boyle brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in direct mail, commercial print and production operations, including helping lead one of the nation's most technologically advanced print organizations through a period of significant innovation and growth.
At Direct One, Boyle will oversee the integration of client services, data processing and prepress, production, and the operational functions that support them. He has been recruited to help build the operational foundation for Direct One's next phase of growth, aligning people, processes and technology as the company continues expanding its national customer base, investing in advanced production capabilities and scaling increasingly complex direct mail programs.
Boyle spent the past 11 years on the executive leadership team at Heeter, where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and helped guide major investments in next generation inkjet technology, automation and production capabilities. Before Heeter, he spent nearly two decades in leadership roles across sales, customer service and business operations with Consolidated Graphics, giving him a rare combination of commercial, operational and production expertise.
“Tom has already helped lead a print organization through the kind of technology-driven growth and operational transformation we are pursuing at Direct One,” said Evan Stewart, CEO of Direct One. “He understands how client service, data, production and business operations must work together to deliver complex programs reliably at scale. His leadership will be critical as we build the next iteration of this company.”
The leadership appointment follows Direct One’s recent installation and launch of the RICOH Pro VC80000 Continuous Feed Inkjet Printer, the first installation of its kind in the Southeastern United States. The investment significantly expands Direct One’s ability to execute high-volume, highly personalized campaigns with faster turnaround times, greater production efficiency and advanced quality controls. Together, the technology investment and Boyle’s appointment reflect Direct One’s continued commitment to building one of the country’s most advanced, accountable and performance-focused direct mail operations.
“Direct One is at an exciting point in its growth,” said Boyle. “The company has made significant investments in its people, technology and capabilities, and there is a clear commitment to solving complex client challenges. I look forward to working with the team to build scalable processes that make those capabilities even more valuable to our customers.”
