In many of the Hall of Fame articles that Printing Impressions publishes each fall, the inductees reminisce about being in the plant as youngsters, bombarded with the sights and smells that have stuck with them all of their lives. Well, most recount the smell of ink, but who among them had to suffer with the odor of urine? In Franklin's day, urine was used to soften the ink balls.
