A Random Selling Idea
You will see this tip twice, once today and then again as a blog in a few weeks. I think it’s that important to try to:
- Make 3-5 calls to random people per week, all summer long. No agenda. You are just calling to catch up.
- Call past clients.
- Call current clients.
- Call friends.
- Call family.
Ask about personal and business updates. You will learn a ton. You will feel better about yourself. You will get ideas for where to steer your business. This idea will have unexpected benefits I cannot predict but can promise will happen.
It’s a silly idea, just calling to catch up. Everyone will think you have an ulterior motive, but you don’t. Sure, there might be ancillary benefits, but you truly need to just go old school and use that phone for something other than to take a selfie or text your kids.
