EFI CEO Guy Gecht made a surprise announcement last week that he plans to leave the company once a successor has been named. Gecht reflects on some of the challenges he's overcome, and the accomplishments achieved, as CEO during the past 19 years; how commercial printers are successfully embracing wide-format printing capabilities; and EFI's expansion into a wide range of industrial inkjet printing markets.
