This week, PaperSpecsGallery.com calls attention to Artifacture's Open House. Simple can be thrilling. Especially when it’s about to spring a surprise on you. As it does here. With this simple (you were warned) invitation from Artifacture.
The cool, chic envelope in Curious Metallics Ionised plays coy. Open and you see the first hint (a diecut logo) of its amazing contents. Lift the first panel of the invitation (also on the Metallics Ionised) and wow! Intricate details of the Dallas skyline have been laser diecut on three panels of the accordion folded end of a 36" long sheet. The resulting depth and delicacy are wonderful.
Recipients are encouraged to take a stroll "down the block" as each panel provides successive pieces of info relating to the open house. These pieces have been digitally printed on Metallics Ice Gold Cover, cut and adhered underneath the laser cuts.
It’s a perfect way for this company to showcase its capabilities and so fun to look at that invitees surely kept the invitation long after the event.
