Aflac Names Pitney Bowes Outstanding Partner of the Year for Innovation and Technology

In order to meet Aflac’s objectives of creating more personal and relevant supplemental insurance communications for its clients, Pitney Bowes replaced Aflac’s existing toner-based monochrome printing devices with its IntelliJet 20 printing system. This enabled the insurance provider to produce monthly statements in full color using 100 percent variable data.

Océ North America Trims Jobs in Connecticut

TRUMBULL, CT—As many as 135 jobs are expected to be cut at Océ North America as part of an integration plan developed since it was acquired by Canon Inc. three years ago, the Connecticut Post reported. A majority of the cuts will be made at its headquarters here, with the bulk of the layoffs coming on New Year's Eve.
