Rochelle, Ill.-based inserts, direct mail and custom commercial printer Master Graphics has added another Sunday 2000 to its pressroom. According to Ken Love, CEO of Master Graphics, the company decided to purchase the Goss Sunday 2000 because it had success with its existing systems from Goss. "As we move our business forward it made perfect sense to build on the existing partnership with Goss and invest in another Sunday 2000 press system," says Ken Love, CEO of Master Graphics.

OK, I digress from my usual finishing tech. discussion this week. Although I’m on the digital finishing side, I spent enough time in the high-volume offset world to become quite familiar with publication, periodical and catalog production.

GSS has launched a DIDDE web site at that offers more access to GENUINE DIDDE parts, service and DIDDE brand offset press equipment.

NYT is upgrading the controls on its Goss presses. The NYT has five Goss Colorliners and two Colorliner 85 presses in its N.Y. plant.

Quad has chosen a Lithoman for its facility in Versailles, Ky. The new press is being installed and will be production-ready in Q3.
