Many graphic communication professionals feel they live in a vacuum where their opinions, views, questions, or challenges are not being heard. There is no shortage of advice and recommendations, with industry experts and consultants always telling them that they need to do this or that. What is needed is a forum were these professionals can learn from their peers what is successfully working, and what others are doing to grow their respective businesses.
Our industry and its culture are rapidly changing, and there is much confusion as to what direction—or directions—are the right ones to follow. Well, that situation is all changing at PRINT 17. Each day of the show, culminating on Wednesday, September 13, at 3 pm, in the The Learning Experience Theater (Booth 3861), attendees will have a chance to express their views and openly ask questions of one another in a safe, protected, no-holds-barred forum called “Print Voices.” A topic will be thrown out to the audience to start the conversation, but participants can take it in any direction.
Business professionals have many difficult decisions to be made every day, some trivial some significant, and these sessions are designed to help you hear from your peers on how they are reacting to the changing climate of the graphics industry. Print Voices is moderated to give everyone a chance to speak, and then, at 4 pm, to loosen the vocal cords even more, wine and beer will be served.
