Super Web Digital to Present Production Inkjet Web, Label Presses at Open House
WEST BABYLON, NY—January 20, 2015—Super Web Digital will be presenting its new WEBJet production inkjet commercial web and label presses at an open house at its facility on Jan. 28–29.
Powered by the Memjet Aspen production print engines, both presses offer the highest native print resolution of any production inkjet press at 1,600x1,375 dpi. The WEBJet 280C Digital Label press features both high-quality four- and spot-color print, plus integrated label lamination and diecutting. The WEBJet 200D commercial press can duplex print 17.54" across up to 275 ft./min. (max. web width is 20.5"). The Memjet Aspen print engines feature a "blade" architecture that print at page width. Each head hosts four blades for CMYK, with an optional fifth available for a spot color.
Super Web Digital has been building commercial web presses since 1971, and custom builds and assembles each press in its West Babylon, NY, facility. The WEBJet presses are servo-driven and feature integrated in-line finishing, including sheet stacking, perforation, hole punching and more. Press firmware and software can be customized for each user. The inkjet RIP is supplied by Xitron and is a Harlequin-based, industry-standard PDF platform. Super Web Digital has packaged all of these capabilities into a system that is very affordable for the user who needs to add high-speed variable, four-color inkjet.
These new production inkjet presses are ideal for digital label production, variable-data transactional, financial and direct mail, as well as short-run book and commercial print applications. The Open House will feature industry segment overviews, as well as Memjet inkjet and press demonstrations. This is an ideal opportunity to get "hands on" with the latest production inkjet technology. Superweb's Long Island location makes it easily accessible for firms in the New York metro area and beyond.
