SIOUX FALLS, SD—Sioux Printing, a general commercial printer with more than 50 years under its belt, will be shutting down by about July 4, owner John Lewin told the Argus Leader. The move will leave approximately 50 people out of work. Lewin would not disclose why the company, which was founded by his father in 1959, was going out of business.
The company stopped taking new orders as of last Monday and is now concentrating on wrapping up jobs in progress. Lewin told the paper he wanted to make the announcement ahead of the closure to spread the word and give his employees an opportunity to latch on with other area printers.
