NEW YORK—October 9, 2014—Coming in at a whopping 960-pages long and weighing in at 13 pounds, will be a complete compilation of Bob Dylan's lyrics titled "The Lyrics: Since 1962," according to Elmore Magazine. Simon & Schuster took on this monumental project that is expected to be released in a limited printing this November.
The book doesn't just contain Dylan's lyrics. Editor Christopher Ricks and co-editors Lisa and Julie Nemrow also included introductions and commentary about each of his songs. According to Elmore, to create a complete "Bob Dylan" experience, the editors tried to include every lyric that they could find, so alternate versions of songs are also included in the book. "The Lyrics: Since 1962," also contains reproductions of the original cover art for each of Dylan's albums.
There will be a limited printing of the book, with only 3,500 copies available for purchase in stores for $200. Dylan will be signing 50 copies of the book which will sell for $5,000.
