Shutterfly Is Hiring 1,000 Seasonal Workers for Its New MN Plant to Handle Busy Holiday Season
SHAKOPEE, MN—September 12, 2014—Shutterfly is seeking 1,000 seasonal workers at its plant based here to meet the demand of the busy holiday season starting this month through late December, reported the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
Anna Botthurath, who works for staffing agency Corestaff Services, in Shakopee, said that Shutterfly is hiring for 12-hour overnight shifts Mondays through Thursdays and 12-hour day and night shifts Fridays through Sundays.
According to the Business Journal, the workers will be Corestaff contractors without benefits, but could be hired by Shutterfly at the end of the season.
Shutterfly is an Internet-based image publishing service based in Redwood, CA. The company also offers photo books, cards, photo gifts, home decor and personal Websites.
