The Board of Directors of the National Print and Sign Owners Association (NPSOA) is pleased to announce the election of Scott Hansen, owner of The Responsive Mailroom in Elgin, Illinois, as a Director at Large.
Hansen, 58, is the kind of guy who’s seen it all—from driving in the motorcade for President George W. Bush to coaching hard-hitting youth football with the same passion he brings to business. He's been a professional multitasker before it was cool.
With nearly three decades at The Responsive Mailroom, Hansen’s not just delivering mail—he’s delivering results. A true believer in “Test before you invest,” he helps clients fine-tune messaging, test smarter, and get real-world responses that drive growth. If you succeed, he succeeds—plain and simple.
In addition to owning The Responsive Mailroom, Hansen has acquired Button Man Printing and CPR Printing, Inc., where he fuses high-quality offset printing with bold branding that stands out in a world of noise. Signs, banners, business cards—you name it, he makes it pop.
He also spent years as a football coach, inspiring young athletes with discipline, strategy, and maybe a motivational speech or two. Leadership isn’t something Hansen talks about—it’s something he lives.
When not making moves for businesses or mentoring the next generation, you might find him on the archery range, gun range, or enjoying camping with his wife of 32 years, Kim.
