Richards Graphic Communications Receives Family Business of the Year Award
BELLWOOD, IL—Oct. 26, 2011—Richards Graphic Communications, a premier woman-owned and family operated business that specializes in offset and digital printing, has received the 2011 Illinois Family Business of the Year Award, Small Business Category, sponsored by Loyola University. The award honors and recognizes family businesses that demonstrate a strong commitment to business, family and community and display innovative business practices and growth strategies.
For 86 years and four generations, the Richards family has operated in Chicago starting on Printer’s Row in 1925. While the printing industry has changed dramatically over the decades, the mission statement of Richards has always been to provide outstanding quality and customer service using the best technology available.
Since its inception, the company has excelled in provided expertise not only using traditional printing systems but has also embraced revolutionary technologies including variable data, custom Web-to-print storefronts, blast e-mails and video.
