What do you come to PRINTING United Expo for?
The equipment?
The networking?
The education?
You should be attending Expo for all of those reasons — and taking advantage of the fact that they’re all in one place. Expo doesn’t just provide access to the latest printing equipment, supplies, and blanks. The education and community help attendees understand how to actually apply the technology, build the right skills, and bring those capabilities back to their businesses.
That includes programs like iLEARNING+, PRINTING United Alliance’s educational platform that helps printers learn essential industry skills.
If you’ve been curious about iLEARNING+ but haven’t yet engaged with it, Expo is your chance to get beyond the course descriptions and see what the experience is actually like, explains Joe Marin, SVP, Member Services, PRINTING United Alliance. “A website tells you what a course is; a few minutes at the booth tells you whether it fits your people, your equipment, and your goals,” he says.
Located in booth N6743 on the show floor, attendees will find everything from large touchscreens to test drive courses to a team of people that will help identify exactly what your business needs. “It's hands-on, not a sales pitch,” says Marin. “You'll leave knowing exactly what the experience feels like for your team.”
There’s also plenty that attendees may not have seen before. Available for hands-on testing will be the newest courses and certifications:
- Bindery Professional Certification
- Direct-to-Film Production Techniques
- Promo Products Essentials
- Digital Marketing Masterclass for Print Professionals
This year, Marin is also excited to spotlight its growing global presence. “We're now at 9,500-plus users across more than 60 countries,” he says. “On the back wall of the booth we'll have a world map showing all 13 of our international affiliate locations, from China to Taiwan and Japan to Mexico, Brazil, and beyond. Even better, some of those affiliates will be in the booth with us, so attendees can meet them in person.”
That global reach isn’t just an impressive number. For companies managing diverse workforces, it can have a direct impact on how effectively they train and develop employees.
For attendees dealing with such workforce challenges in addition to all it takes to run a printing business in today’s climate, Expo is an opportunity to find out whether iLEARNING+ belongs in their own training strategy — not months from now, but while the platform, its newest content, and the people behind it are all in one place. “If you're dealing with hiring, onboarding, retention, or a skills gap on your floor, this is the fastest way to see whether iLEARNING+ actually helps — straight from the people who built it,” says Marin.
You’re already coming to Expo to discover what’s next for your equipment, technology, and business. Don’t leave without considering what’s next for the people who will be using it.
“All of this really comes back to one thing: helping companies build stronger teams and helping people grow real careers in print,” Marin believes. “The new courses, the global reach, the certifications — they all exist to do that. Come find us at N6743 and see for yourself.”
