Prisma Graphic Acquires World Marketing-Phoenix to Increase Its Capacity
PHOENIX—Nov. 1, 2010—In an effort to better serve the needs of its customers, Prisma Graphic has aquired Phoenix World Marketing-Phoenix (WMP). The Arizona location is one of seven facilities of Omaha, NE-based World Marketing, a privately held company owned by the Omaha World Herald Co., a newspaper, media and communications company that was established in 1885.
World Marketing-Phoenix currently produces over 3 million pieces of direct mail and 80,000 fulfillment packages each month for an impressive list of local, national and Fortune 1,000 companies. Its current data services, from analytics that provide high-value prospects, to cleansing of existing customer databases to reduce waste, its a strong selling point for Prisma. WMP also offers a full range of strategic, production and mailing services that Prisma plans to incorporate into its current mailing and fulfillment line up.
“When we considered the talents and expertise of World Marketing’s staff, along with their years of experience in security for highly critical data, this acquisition just made sense,” said Robert Anderson, president of Prisma Graphic. “Our company has been in marketing supply chain management for some time and their services compliment the future of our business and direction of our industry in general.”
Prisma Graphic plans to retain all 37 of the World Marketing employees. Maher Amoura, World Marketing’s General Manager, will continue to run sales and operations from its Tempe location at 2850 S. Roosevelt St. By February 2011, Prisma will move their operations into Prisma’s newly expanded and reorganized 112,000 square foot facility at 2937 E. Broadway Rd. in Phoenix.
